If you have deleted the egr valve and then vehicle has suddenly lost power or it has came to you with an egr valve fault and you thought deleting it would fix it then the only answer to this is either replace the egr valve's or remove them and clean them. In some cases it has been known to delete the egr on these vehicles then they go into reduced power mode quite a few miles later. If you perform a deletion on one of these and the customer calls you back lets say two weeks later complaining of reduced power then egr might be the first thing for them to get checked out?

Egr Blanking Plates:

On the TDV6 EU2 engine used in the Land Rover Discovery 3 and the Range Rover Sport pre V.I.N 7A, a blanking plate system can be used. However if you try and fit a blanking kit to a later model, the ECU module will create faults and display warning lights on the dashboard.

There are two different part numbers for the EGR valves on the TDV6 as they are handed, as you sit in the vehicle, the left hand side is part number LR018465 and the right hand side is part number LR018466. These valves meet the Euro Consolidated Directive 3 emission controls set up to 2007. You will also need per side, an inlet gasket part number 1336561 and an outlet gasket part number 1331267.

For vehicles after 2007 you may need the Stage 4 version, the left hand side is LR018323 and the right hand side is LR018324. Some vehicles were made pre 2007 but registered later, so the guaranteed way to check is by using your chassis number.
